MONEY MONDAYS
The LSherie Alert, LLC is extremely excited to announce Money Mondays, a financial wellness conversation to help build your financial wealth with financial guru, Andrell D. Harris. Money Mondays was created to share financial wisdom, tips, and other suggestions for you to follow. Andrell is an accomplished businessman, investor, philanthropist and lover of Jackson State University. Why are we doing this? Why not? Millions of people including myself are looking for ways to increase our finances, learn the tricks of the trade, become active in stock and investments and so much more. The purpose of learning is sharing what’s been learned to help others.
Ashley in Georgia asks:
How Can I Build Wealth?
So many of us view Wealth Creation as virtually impossible, I am here to tell you that it is possible. In the pass I never talked personally about figures and numbers that I personally accomplished but let me put something out there for a second that may inspire some. At 28 the most I have made in a single year since I have been investing is 298k, this same year I paid almost 100k in taxes! I tell you this because if money motivates you, I want you to know that you can make plenty of it. As you make it be sure to invest in people, its been my experience that people are my best investments. I want you to know that you can build wealth in your life. When I graduated from Jackson State University I owed over 90k in credit card debt, student loans, and other loans that I took out because I WAS (past tense) financially irresponsible.
I saw the light after graduating from JSU with a degree in Finance. I started saving aggressively and I began investing my money. There is nothing special about me. I read everything that I could get my hands on about Wealth Creation and Money. Six years later I have several Beach Front properties that I collect Residual Income from each month in Florida, properties that I paid cash for in Mississippi, a portfolio of stocks, a vehicle that is paid off, I am debt free, and now I live within my means! Last year I traveled to 12 countries and it was the best time of my life! I want you to know that you can do all of this too! Below are a list of things that I did to build my current portfolio of Wealth at 28 and the way I changed my mindset. Stay Motivated, Stay Hungry, and Lets get this Money!
1. Just because you make more does not mean you have to spend more.
2. Just because its on sale does not mean you have to buy it.
3. As you make more MONEY, SAVE more MONEY.
4. Invest what you can afford, I made my first investment with $75 over 10 years ago. You don’t think you have enough to invest because you have not taken the first step in turning your little into a lot.
5. Just because you have the money doesn’t mean that you need to buy it
6. Just because you can buy it doesn’t mean you can afford it
I kept those principles in mind during the last six years. Now that I am financially independent I spend more but at the end of the day I have 12 months worth of my living expenses in the bank, I have a detailed Retirement Plan in place, and I have investments that pay me monthly while I sleep. This should be the goal for everyone. You can build wealth, if I did it you can do it too! I am sharing my story to inspire others, this is real life..
Blessings and Love,
Andrell D. Harris
