MercMusic is a music group centered in Jackson, MS. MercMusic has four CFO’s that work hard along side two recent artist that have joined forces with the group. ReneeLee, recent addition to MercMusic, shocks listeners with her voice and her undeniable talent as a female mc. Vegas, newbie as well, is anything but a rookie, with experience under his belt he joins T3, JA, and ReneeLee to produce hits. T3 (CFO) and JA (CFO) continue to do what they’ve been doing, and that’s handle business in the booth. Strongarm, producer & co founder as well, handles the production and engineering side of things & JY, CFO and executive producer is the piece that holds them all together.
MercMusic first created a buzz with their mixtape “MercMusic vol.1” (March 2011), later releasing “The Scumbags” (March 2012). MercMusic recently released Armed&Conceited. Vegas’s solo project “J.A.C.K.P.O.T. (Journal Acknowledging Consistent Knowledge Progressing Over Time) ” was released (August 2012), and he’s currently working on “J.A.C.K.P.O.T. 2”. T3, JA, and ReneeLee are working on solo projects as well. They dont stop there though, they’re hard at work with projects such as “Transfer Students”, “MercMusic Vol.2”, as well as doing features for other artist. With shows coming up in Mississippi, Texas, and surrounding areas MercMusic is soon to get the recognition they deserve.

Strongarm, Producer (MercMusic)
Born into music, Jeremy Armstrong, who later was given the name Strongarm by friend Skip Coon, was introduced to music of all genres before he could say his ABC’s. With a grandfather being a part of the gospel group, The 7 Stars & a father playing guitar it wouldn’t be long before musical interest would spark the mind of Jeremy. His first beat was created in 5th grade. Two years later he sold his first beat but the passion for it grew later. In 1998, he ventured into the world of rap. While rapping, he linked up with 5th Child and they formed a group from 1999-2001. Realizing rap wasnt what he really wanted, he moved to Dallas in 2003 where he began focusing more on tracks and producing music. Since then Strongarm has made a buzz, intriguing minds of artist making them put their best efforts forth on a track & feeding the public with timeless music. He has produced songs for TBC from New Orleans, various artist from SSFFG, Evan I Tribe, Goodfellas, Cassius, 45 music, and 5th child all from Jackson, Mississippi. Strongarm has also produced “Sessions with Caleb” a Grammy nominated Jazz CD, & produced tracks for Mike Jones & Ice Age of Texas, and Interscope recording group Recognition
In the summer of 2012, Strongarm released his highly anticipated mixtape, Strongarm For Mayor Pt.1 a 14-track collaboration of artist featured on his beats. Alongside all his solo work, Strongarm is Co-Founder of MercMusic, a rap group centered in Jackson, MS.
