This New Jersey based hair stylist rose in industry rank as she consistently produced high-quality custom wig units she designed herself. The love for cosmetology was not immediate. Her newly found career began just two years ago after starting her clothing line.
Noor Mizana has an extensive and impressive hair portfolio, universal styling skills, and is a cutting and color guru. Gaining speed in being one of the most recognizable wig designers, Noor Mizana has begun adding more irons to the fire, so-to-speak, as she is currently working on her newly patented hair iron, called the “Piranha,” with hopes to release later this year.
My biggest challenge thus far has been constructing the perfect measurements for the prototype of my patented hair tool iron. I am trying to have the perfect handle to where one could hold it effortlessly and it is taking lots of time and resources.
Although the challenges she’s faced with this project alone has caused frustration, and I can imagine, a bit of anxiety, Noor Mizana is no giving up on moving her ideal hair tool product into reality.
When times get tough, to keep motivated, I say to myself, “There’s no success without hard work and God will always test you to see how bad you want it.” Then if I can remember, I think about why I started in the first place. Also, sometimes we need to take a break and do something fun. Go out with friends, get a little distracted, and then get back on track with a newfound hunger for success.
I’ll be more focused on the hair tool irons and getting ready to go into production with that. I plan on filling orders for stores like Walmart, Target, Sally’s and local beauty supply stores. This is how I see the future of my business. I love wigs, however, I will be more focused on the hair tools.
