BUILDING SELF CONFIDENCE
I don’t care what your passion is or what you want to do with your life…you gotta have self confidence. I remember wayyy before I started The LSherie Alert thinking… “what in the world am I going to do? How am I going to make it happen?”
I was doubting myself before I even gave myself a chance to make it. Even though people were telling me how awesome I am, I really wasn’t sure if I could create something and people love it.
Honestly my self confidence was low. I was so use to following or helping others build their dreams, somehow I lost on how to do the same for myself. Afraid of the attention. Afraid of the spotlight. The fear of failure.
But here’s what happened. I started surrounding myself with people who were about being and becoming great. I realized that they separated themselves from those who “played around” not really putting in the work.
I realized that removing people and things that constantly produce and generate positive influences. Rather that meant pushing me to get things done. Pushing me to step in front. That time of follow was over. That phase had fizzled out.
And as I begin pulling out what was most important to me and refocusing those techniques and advice that I once gave to everybody else…for myself.
YOU HAVE THE RIGHT STUFF! It’s possible for you to do and be whatever you choose. It’s not about where you come from, but where you’re headed. Don’t misunderstand… your past should be that fire that ignites your passion.
Even if you have to drop all those people… all that noise around you. Refocus on yourself. Reflect on all those times you made it through a situation that may have looked impossible to overcome. But you did it… you’re doing it!
Get back to your why… that’s how you build self confidence.
