Steps to Financial Freedom

The LSherie Alert, LLC is extremely excited to announce Money Mondays, a financial wellness conversation to help build your financial wealth with financial guru, Andrell D. Harris.  Money Mondays was created to share financial wisdom, tips, and other suggestions for you to follow.  Andrell is an accomplished businessman, investor, philanthropist and lover of Jackson State University. Why are we doing this?  Why not?  Millions of people including myself are looking for ways to increase our finances, learn the tricks of the trade, become active in stock and investments and so much more.  The purpose of  learning is sharing what’s been learned to help others.

D in Phoenix asks:

What Are The Steps To Financial Freedom?

1)  Accepting the fact that you do not manage your money well is the first step.

2) Make a budget and stick with it.  This is what saves you money.  Remember there are two ways to save more money; Increase your salary or decrease your spending.

3) Pay down debt with what you are saving.

4)  Save 6 – 9 months of your monthly expenses.

5) Invest your money with a brokerage account and make sure you have a 401k with your employer, matching your employers contribution at minimum.

6) Give back to something bigger than yourself, a cause or organization that you are passionate about.

7) Lastly, feed the beast! I like to call it feeding the beast because we all like to spend money and have fun.  When you have save, invested, and planned accordingly you can blow a little money on special occasions.  The trick is when you spend money,  make sure that your financial life is in order first and that all bills are paid!  As long as you have mastered your financial life, there is not much fun that you can’t have…

Save like you life depends on it, sooner rather than later!

Blessings and Love,

Andrell D. Harris

In today’s economy, it’s important that we learn how to not only save money, but also how to invest and make money! I don’t trust too many people when it comes to the little money that I have for now, but there is one person I do and that’s my former classmate and college roommate Andrell Harris. Andrell has been a successful business owner since he was a teenager and has since become an even greater business man. Following him and getting sound advice in regards to things such as investing, saving, purchasing, etc would be a VERY wise move for you and your family! – Jay Jeraude
